We’ve tasked our trusty Mission ski jacket with a critical "mission": to help us avoid leftover fabric remnants, and thus waste. While the pockets of our overalls have always been made of remainders from the previous year’s collection, we are now presenting an entire jacket made from the leftover pieces.
That’s not as easy as it might sound – we have to calculate precisely how much of which material is on hand, and we have to change the thread colors during production – but we think it’s worth it: Every jacket is a one-of-a-kind namuk piece with a really great story, too.
With their reflective prints, our jackets shine when it comes to safety, and their technical features make them heroes of weatherproofing and comfort: A waterproof rating of 15’000 mm, biodegradable* insulation and high breathability are the watchwords here.
Mission complete? Not quite. This is namuk gear we’re talking about, after all: Features such as the hidden key holder and built-in pocket for garbage are just as important as the Overall Connection System, which ensures that the jacket can be combined with any pair of namuk snow pants. It’s almost enough to make you feel sorry for anyone who’s too big to wear one.
Good to know: The printed pattern may differ from the picture. Our prints are hand-drawn, and the cut-out section used on every piece of clothing may vary. That means each product is truly one of a kind.
